Our Forest Technician Technology program, launched in 2019-2020, is your gateway to the dynamic world of forestry. Designed for sophomores, juniors, and seniors, this program offers an in-depth look at the forest industry and opens doors to exciting career opportunities.

Imagine diving into topics like tree biology, forest ecology, and silviculture, where you'll learn how to nurture and manage our forests. Get hands-on with skills in land and forest measurement, GPS, and GIS, and discover how to harness technology for conservation and management.

 

From the intricacies of forest ecosystems to the adventure of wild-land fire management, every lesson equips you with the knowledge and experience to thrive in this field.

And the career possibilities? They're as vast as the forests you'll explore. Whether you're interested in becoming a harvesting equipment operator, a forester, or pursuing another path in this essential industry, our program sets you up for success.
